Deraya University

Deraya University is a 167,847-square-meter private university project in Upper Egypt. Inspire architecture & Engineering was responsible for developing the master plan, which includes five different faculty buildings, a lecture hall complex building, an administrative building, and several service blocks. The project concept design centers on an outdoor central student gathering zone. This zone will consist of landscaped areas, activity zones, and walkways. The project is surrounded by an outer ring road with a dedicated parking zone for each faculty building. Our scope of work also included the detailed architectural designs for all of the buildings. The designs are informed by the university's vision of creating a collaborative and innovative learning environment. The buildings are designed to be energy-efficient and sustainable, with features such as natural ventilation and rainwater harvesting. The project is currently in the construction phase and is expected to be fully completed in 2025. Upon completion, Deraya University will be one of the largest and most modern private universities in Upper Egypt. It will provide students with a world-class education in a supportive and stimulating environment. The university campus is a sprawling complex of buildings, walkways, and gardens. The walkways are wide and shaded, providing a comfortable space for students to walk between classes or simply relax. The gardens are home to a variety of beautiful plants, including trees, flowers, and shrubs. The sports zone is a stunning complex of athletic fields and courts, with spectator areas that offer stunning views of the action. The food outlets on campus offer a variety of meal options.
