Alahly Club - New Cairo - Competition

.

Inspire Architecture & Engineering participated in the Alahly Club competition to design the latest club master plan in New Cairo. The competition was a multi-stage process, and Inspire progressed through each stage until reaching the final project presentation to the club board in February 2017. The competition was ultimately won by another firm, but we were awarded second place. The project site covers an area of 176,000 m2 and includes most of the major sporting activities offered by the club. Inspire's concept design was based on the historical Alahly Sporting Club symbolic eagle, which acted as the plan nucleus and central zone surrounded by different sporting activities and social buildings. The design also incorporated a number of sustainable features, such as rainwater harvesting and solar energy panels. Inspire is proud of its participation in the Alahly Club master plan competition and is confident that the design would have created a world-class sporting facility for the club and its members. The firm is committed to providing innovative and sustainable design solutions for its clients, and this project is a testament to its capabilities in this area.
